The Scholarship Foundation of Santa Barbara has received 3,305 applications for financial aid in the 2020-21 academic year. The applications are currently under review, and awardees will be announced in May. Last year the Foundation awarded $7.98 million to 2,447 students throughout Santa Barbara County.
“The need for college financial aid in our community shows no sign of abating,” said Scholarship Foundation Board Chair Christie Glanville. “It gives us tremendous satisfaction to know that we are doing our part to meet this need.
