PHOTO CONTEST CELEBRATES ‘THE GOOD LIFE ON THE CENTRAL COAST’

Family Service Agency (FSA), doing business as the Santa Maria Valley Youth & Family Center in north county, announces “The Good Life on the Central Coast” Photo Contest for 2019. Santa Barbara County residents of all ages are invited to share their favorite photographs for a chance to win cash prizes. All entries will be eligible for permanent display in the FSA’s Santa Maria Valley Youth & Family Center office.

This year, the contest is underwritten with sponsorship by Union Bank and The Santa Maria Sun.

“The photo contest gives us a chance to ask the community to look for the things that are good, positive, and beautiful around them, and to reinforce our own strong sense of community,” said Lisa Brabo, FSA’s Executive Director. “We’re looking forward to seeing our “good life” here on the Central Coast expressed through the lenses local photographers.”

With three entry categories (Youth, Adult, and Employee), “The Good Life” photo contest gives shutterbugs an opportunity to highlight their creative skills and share beautiful artistic images of local life. Submissions will be accepted between August 12 and October 1, 2019 at 5 pm. Winners will be announced, and celebrated, at the agency’s Santa Maria office located 105 N. Lincoln Street on October 28. For the complete list of prizes and rules, please visit FSAcares.org/photos.
