Jodi House Brain Injury Support Center is pleased to announce the appointment of Tim Morton-Smith CFA, founder and CEO of Home Savi, as the nonprofit’s new board president.
“Tim is a steadfast supporter of Jodi House and a passionate advocate for brain injury survivors in our community,” said Lindsey Black, executive director of Jodi House. “As we work through the challenges of these times, I know he is the right leader to propel us into the next chapter of Jodi House’s history. His skills and support will further our work to empower brain injury survivors in the Santa Barbara community and beyond.”
Tim Morton-Smith was born and raised in Santa Barbara and has local family roots that go back four generations. He graduated from USC’s Marshall School of Business with an emphasis from the Lloyd Greif Center for Entrepreneurial Studies and has earned his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. Tim has a diverse background starting his career at Santa Barbara Bank and Trust, founding a local investment advisory firm and most recently founding a real estate technology company geared towards simplifying the home buying process.
“I have seen Jodi House grow over the years and feel very privileged to be able to lead the organization at what I see as the strongest positioned the organization has been to continue to expand all the amazing services Jodi House has to offer,” said Morton-Smith.
Dr. Ryan Rogers is a Doctor of Chiropractic practicing in Santa Barbara. He received his doctorate from Southern California University of Health Sciences in Whittier, California. He serves on the executive board of Santa Barbara Young Professionals Club was also a past co-chair of Santa Barbara Newcomers. Dr. Rogers is an instructor of “Posture and Stability” at Jodi House.
Additional new officers to Jodi House’s Board of Directors include: Adriana Mezic, Vice President; Andrew Chung, Treasurer; and Beth Alexander, Secretary.
