Jodi House Welcomes Board Member Adriana Mezic

Jodi House Brain Injury Support Center is excited to welcome Adriana Mezic to their Board of Directors. Ms. Mezic, M.A., is Founder and President of AIMdyn, Inc, a health analytics, consulting, research and software development company in Santa Barbara. She and her husband Igor, a Professor of Mechanical Engineering and Mathematics at UCSB, are parents to three daughters and have been living in the Santa Barbara area for more than 25 years. 

Jodi House was started in 1982 as a family’s attempt to address the gap in services that existed when their daughter sustained a brain injury. Since then, Jodi House has grown to become the main source of support, information, and resources for brain injury survivors and their families in Santa Barbara County. 

Adriana has multiple archival publications in prestigious scientific journals, such as the American Journal of Physiology, Diabetes, JASSS, PLOS One and others. She has worked in the medical and social support fields and has led and participated in hospital volunteer programs in Santa Barbara and the UK, as well as the Project Recovery in Santa Barbara. She is a past Board member of Teddy Bear Cancer Foundation and Vice President of the DPHS Engineering Academy PTA. Adriana is also an active supporter of TBCF, DPEA, and the Community Environmental Council.
