CADA (The Council on Alcoholism & Drug Abuse) is recruiting for a Program Coordinator for our Youth Diversion Programs.

As an important part of our leadership team at our Daniel Bryant Youth and Family Center in Santa Barbara, the Diversion Program Coordinator will supervise the Case Managers in our two diversion programs, Youth Empowerment Services (YES) and Teen Court. This individual will  work with our partner agencies (schools, lawyers/judges, probation, law enforcement) on how to best support youth to keep from re-offending as we expand and enhance our diversion programming while determining what will make our programs and our youth most successful.

The Program Coordinator will also work directly with families in support of Teen Court contracts or restorative action plans.  This may include some educational classes or group counseling in various evidenced based practices.

This position will work closely with our adolescent substance abuse treatment program, our prevention programs, and our mental health/co-occurring programs for youth and will be a valued member of our managerial team. It will be a good fit for someone who would like to make a difference in the lives of youth and families in our community, help administer and influence programming for youth, and for those who are interested in juvenile justice or restorative practices.
