PathPoint, a leader in providing support services that empower people with disabilities, mental health diagnoses, and disadvantages to be valued members of our community, is seeking a Human Resources and Office Administrator to join our team in Santa Barbara, CA. In this hands-on role, you’ll ensure smooth operation of PathPoint’s corporate office and take the lead on day-to-day HR administration, with a focus on benefits and payroll. You’ll support our nearly 400 employees in 5 counties, helping them with HR questions and making sure that all payroll information is processed accurately.

What You’ll Do:

HR Administration

  • Set up new hires and process changes in HRIS; ensure timely and accurate entry of employee information.
  • Process benefits enrollments for newly hired employees and subsequent benefit changes.
  • Assist employees in resolving HR questions.
  • Manage employee referral bonus program and years of service recognition program.

Office Administration

  • Process incoming mail; record checks and distribute correspondence to the appropriate personnel.
  • Greet office visitors and answer phones.
  • Code and reconcile corporate invoices; assist with credit card reconciliations.
  • Maintain office supplies.
  • Coordinate special events for corporate office, including staff birthdays, anniversary recognition, and holiday parties.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an approved medical or religious exemption
  • Customer-service focus and a sincere desire to give all employees a positive experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • High levels of initiative and adaptability
  • Tech-savvy and able to pick up new systems quickly; intermediate Excel and Word skills
  • Two years of experience in an administrative support role
  • Experience or training in human resources is a plus, but not required
  • Must receive criminal record clearance through the DOJ

Compensation and Benefit Package: This is an hourly, non-exempt position starting at $19-$22 per hour.
