Coast Caregiver Resource Center (CCRC) is a program of Cottage Rehabilitation Hospital, which provides families and other unpaid caregivers with meaningful information, referral, consultation, and other support, enabling them to provide competent care to their loved ones at home, while managing the stress that often accompanies caregiving.

We are currently in need of a Manager to oversee our Coast Caregiver Resource Center.  In this position you will manage and supervise program operations and staff.  You will be a liaison with California Department of Health Care Services and all other program funders, including the Association of California Caregiver Resource Centers.  Will be directly and indirectly involvement in fund development for the program.  Job duties include:  hiring, training and performance evaluations for the employees; preparing required documents and budgets for funders, including Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital; monitoring of budgeted expenditures and service authorizations; coordination/monitoring of all vendor contracts.  Representation of CCRC through public speaking, training activities, community meetings and participation in special projects.

The ideal candidate will possess a Masters’ degree in Social Work, Psychology, Public Health, or related field, be familiar with neurological/cognitive impairments and bio-psycho-social issues facing family caregivers. Able to manage all aspects of CCRC services, including caregiver counseling and respite, vendor contracts, data required by program funders and collaborative relationships within Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital, as well as with agencies throughout the tri-county area.  Must have 5 years of post-Master’s experience in geriatrics, mental health, or adult disability and 3 years management experience preferred.  Valid California driver license and own transportation required.  LMFT, LCSW or similar mental health practitioner license preferred.
