Office Assistant

CommUnify is seeking an Office Assistant who enjoys teamwork, multitasking, scheduling, and working with a diverse team and program support areas. Your work will benefit youth and families throughout Santa Barbara county. Your work will impact thousands of youth and families in our community by supporting our family and youth services team. This position is a full-time, temporary position working out of either Santa Maria or Goleta

Under the supervision of the FYS Director, the Office Assistant will provide support to all FYS department staff. The FYS Office Assistant will be responsible for all of the general administrative duties of the FYS department. This will include scheduling, data collection, FYS department communications, record keeping, electronic file folder organization, doodle polling, creating and managing Excel spreadsheets, and some direct support with program staff for special events.

REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent and one (1) or more years of administrative experience. Strong computer knowledge of Database software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software. Valid California Driver’s License with ability to qualify for coverage under Agency insurance plan. Travel may be required within County. Ability to speak Spanish desirable. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
