Holiday Market Makes it Easy to Shop Local at SBCC School of Extended Learning

Drop by for a unique, one-stop holiday shopping event December 7 at SBCC School of Extended Learning Arts & Crafts Fair, at Wake Campus on N. Turnpike Rd.

Just in time for the holiday shopping homestretch, the SBCC School of Extended Learning annual Arts & Crafts Fair  presents unique, handcrafted gifts that will make you a local hero to everyone on your list. The event is held Saturday, December 7, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at SBCC’s Wake Campus, 300 N. Turnpike Road.

“We’re thrilled to present one of the beloved local markets Santa Barbara looks forward to each holiday season. After more than twenty years, we’re one of the original ‘shop local’ holiday events,” said Andy Harper, Interim Dean, SBCC School of Extended Learning. “The Fair offers a great opportunity to see how Extended Learning classes can fuel your own creativity or career.”

The Arts & Crafts Fair has more than a 20-year legacy and, each year, introduces the community to Extended Learning’s talented pool of artists, from students to instructors. Artists look forward to the Fair as a chance to showcase their work with the local community.

More than 60 local artists will showcase their unique ceramics, jewelry, glass arts, textiles and weaving, drawings, paintings, all set at great prices. Visitors can shop at their leisure at the Wake Campus, with free, convenient parking.
