Grant Center Update: The Tuohy Foundation grant is due by September 15th

Tuohy Foundation Resources

The Alice Tweed Foundation is an independent foundation established in 1956. It supports organizations in the Santa Barbara that promote young people and that provide outstanding opportunities for performance, growth, and creativity. Funding priority is generally given to nonprofit organizations in the Santa Barbara area that serve young people, educational institutions, selected health care and medical organizations, and community projects.

The Tuohy Foundation grant is due by September 15th. The Grant Center has some things to help you put together your Tuohy application and make sure you don’t miss any requirements:

Required Attachments Checklist
This is a list of all required attachments and how many of each you need to include.

Executive Director Letter Template
This has all the miscellaneous information that they require the E.D. to attest to, including the source of information about the Tuohy Foundation, statement of compliance with their guidelines, list of other funders approached, fund raising strategy, and the giving history of your board.

Tax Exempt Status Letter Template
This is a template you can use to attest to the fact that your organization still has tax-exempt status with the IRS.

To download any of these resources, log in to your NPRN account, click Grant Center, then click Funder Database and choose Tuohy from there.

As always, please let me know if there is anything we missed, or if you have any questions!
